In recent months, the institutions have passed urgent measures to tackle the economic and social impact caused by Covid-19 in housing matters, such as the Mayoral Decree of 6 April 2020, which provides for a moratorium until August for all people living in public housing.
The State Government has passed two decrees: Royal Decree-Law (RDL) 8/2020, from 18 March, and Royal Decree-Law 11/2020, from 2 April, which provide for measures for both people living in rented housing and people who are homeowners with a mortgage or non-mortgage credit or loan.
